Since I haven't posted much in the last few months I thought I'd cover some family highlights in photos...
Hannah spent a lot of time on her "big-girl" bike with her new-found ability to ride it. She shied away from it most of the summer, and then one day she decided to try it. I gave her a good push and off she went, as if she'd been doing it for weeks!
Kaitlyn really enjoyed her swim lessons and progressed nicely.
Hannah's extra-curricular activity was the Lynnwood Children's Choir, which she really enjoyed. Their weekly rehearsals culminated in a Christmas concert for families and friends as well as a mini-concert and sing-along at a local senior center. We were so proud of her for overcoming her apprehension to perform in front of an audience. She did great! And she was really excited that one of her best little school buddies came to see her too!
On a cool, crisp autumn day we headed to Carleton Farms to pick out pumpkins, ride a barrel train, and enjoy a hay ride.
The girls also shot these pumpkins from a pumpkin canon, which was pretty cool.
Halloween around here is a busy time. We hosted our 3rd annual Halloween block party and had a blast again. It's a great way to get to hang out with our neighbors and meet new ones. The girls love helping me in the kitchen, so they were really pumped to make some spooky treats!
This year, the girls were Princess and The Frog. :)
Finally, here are a few pictures from the trip Dale and I took to Nashville that I referenced in my previous post. We hung out a lot with these great people, among others...
We enjoyed visiting IBC, our former church...
...and doing things that can only be done in Music City, USA! :)
